Family Nile Cruise

After breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada, you will transfer to Luxor with a private air-conditioned vehicle. Our guide will take you to your cruise ship for lunch on board. Our Egyptologist guide will accompany you in the afternoon for the East Bank Luxor tour with the Karnak and Luxor temples. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor

After breakfast aboard the cruise ship, we will take you to the West Bank of the Nile. You will enjoy the Colossi of Memnon, such as the Valley of the Kings and its magnificent tombs. These tombs were carved deep in the desert rocks, richly decorated with murals, and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, which are in the Egyptian Museum. Follow us to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female pharaoh. It’s rising on a series of terraces from the desert to the top, with the surrounding limestone cliffs merging. You will be back to have lunch on the ship. As we drive to Edfu, enjoy your afternoon tea on the sundeck. Spend your free time aboard the cruise ship. Have dinner and accommodation on board.

After breakfast on board, we will guide you to the famous Edfu Temple. After the visit, we head back to the cruise ship to continue on the Kom Ombo tour to visit the temple of the Crocodile-headed god of fertility and creators of the world. You return to your cruise ship. The journey continues to Aswan. Have dinner and overnight on board.

After breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship, you will be picked up for an exciting visit to Aswan Dam (High Dam). This building was a technical marvel in the 1960s. It contains 18 times the material used in the Pyramid of Cheops. It leads to the granite quarries, which still house the famous unfinished obelisk. You will travel to the island of Gilka (by motorboat), where you will visit the majestic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. You will return to your ship and enjoy your free time in Aswan with a pleasant dinner and overnight on board.

You leave the luxury Nile cruise ship after breakfast. Your free time is at your disposal in Aswan. Optionally, we offer a tour to Abu Simbel by plane / domestic flight to the impressive temples of Nefertari and Ramses II. You will be transferred to the train terminal on board a first-class sleeping compartment in Cairo, including dinner and overnight during the trip.

Enjoy your breakfast aboard the train. Arrived in Cairo, you will meet our Egyptologist guide to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Middle Chephren Pyramid, and the little one of Mykerinos. Visit the mysterious Sphinx, as well as the valley temple below.
Lunch is during a break. Afterward, visit the world-famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, designed in neoclassical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon and featuring a collection of more than 150,000 pre-dynastic masterpieces from the Pharaonic period to the Greco-Roman era in Egypt.
You can choose an optional visit to the mummy rooms in the Egyptian Museum, where you can learn all about the great Egyptian civilization and the art of mummification in ancient Egypt. Then, we will head to the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo, visiting some of the city’s early religious monuments, such as the famous hanging or floating church. At the end of our tour, we will take you to the airport of Cairo to fly back to Hurghada for the following transfer to your hotel.
