Itinerary

Day 1: Hurghada – Cairo by flight

 ✅From your hotel in Hurghada, you will be picked up by air-conditioned private vehicle for transfer to Hurghada’s domestic airport for the flight to Cairo. Our trained Egyptologist already awaits you there.

✅Let’s go to our first stop of the tour in Cairo, with every known, fascinating pyramid of Giza. You will be astonished by the design of the tombs built more than 4500 years ago, about which the archaeologists still disagree on the origin and construction. From here you see our second target, the Sphinx, This half human half lion statue watches over the graves with its 20m height and 57m length with a view of the valley temple

✅For refreshment, we serve lunch during a break in Cairo

✅Continue to Tahrir Square. Here is the Egyptian Museum with its approximately 150 000 objects will impress everyone. It is amazing how little tools were used to produce such precise work thousands of years ago.

✅Let yourself be spellbound by the most well-known find; the grave contents of the child pharaoh Tutankhamun. At the moment, a new museum is under construction, as the old building can no longer present all the finds.

✅After a break, we will take you to the old town of Cairo. Before you get the chance to rummage in the oriental bazaar of the old town, we will show you the Christian part of the city with the unique “hanging church” which got its name from its construction in the former fortress walls and the Abu Serga, the place where the sacred Family protection from persecution Herod searched.

✅At the end of the tour we take a short sailing trip with a felucca on the Nile, then we drive you to the hotel for the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo – Alexandria City Tour – Return to Hurghada

✅After breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, you will be picked up by the private tour guide with an air-conditioned vehicle to drive to Alexandria. During a full day tour of Alexandria, we will visit the Catacomb (Kom El-Shokafa), as well as the 25-meter granite Pompeius column from the 3rd century. It is a last remaining relic of the Serapeum and was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian.

 ✅Continue to the Roman Amphitheater, Fort Qaite Bey, and we will visit the Library of Alexandria, which was reconstructed after a fire. The new library was built in Selsela near Shatby, next to the conference center. It is one of the largest cultural and science centers specializing in literature, civilization, science, and art in the region. The library, run in three languages, attracts scientists from all over the world.

✅We continue to visit the Royal Palace of El-Montazah.

25% down payment required to secure the booking and can be done online by Credit card, Visa and Master or bank  transfer

75% balance will be required in pick up from your hotel on the tour day and can be paid by credit cards or cash

Booking of your trip will be complete and confirmed by your tour designer as soon as we receive the 25% down payment
